“Prepare for 2023!”

As I’ve recently sought the Lord, I felt led to pray this over you in preparation of 2023.

In 2023, (Eph 1:17) I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know Him through your deepening intimacy with Him. (vs.18) In 2023, I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling – that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that He finds in us, His holy ones! (vs.19) In 2023, I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith, so your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you!

In 2023, (Eph 3:16) I pray that the Lord unveils within you the unlimited riches of His glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with His divine might and explosive power. (vs.17) In 2023, I pray that by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of His love will become the very source and root of your life. (vs.18-19) In 2023, I pray that you are empowered to discover what every holy one experiences – the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is His love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding – this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! (vs.20) In 2023, I pray that you never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for His miraculous power constantly energizes you.

In 2023, (Php 1:9) I pray for your love to grow and increase beyond measure, bringing you into the rich revelation of spiritual insight in all things. (vs.10) This will enable you to choose the most excellent way of all – becoming pure and without offense until the unveiling of Christ. (vs.11) In 2023, I pray that you are filled completely with the fruits of righteousness that are found in Jesus, the Anointed One – bringing great praise and glory to God!

In 2023, (Col 1:9) I pray that you would receive the perfect knowledge of God’s pleasure over your life, making you a reservoir of every kind of wisdom and spiritual understanding. (vs.10) In 2023, I pray that you walk in the ways of true righteousness, pleasing God in every good thing you do. Then you’ll become a fruit-bearing branch, yielding to His life, and maturing in the rich experience of knowing God in His fullness! (vs.11) In 2023, I pray that you would be energized with all His explosive power from the realm of His magnificent glory, filling you with great hope. (vs.12) In 2023, I pray that your heart soars with joyful gratitude when you think of how God made you worthy to receive the glorious inheritance freely given to us by living in the light. (vs.13) He has rescued us completely from the tyrannical rule of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom realm of His beloved Son. (vs.14) For in the Son all our sins are canceled and we have the release of redemption through His very blood. To God be all the glory! In Jesus’ name, amen!

“Fix bayonets!” This is the command you hear when it’s time to engage your opponent face-to-face. With our focus on making disciples, this role-playing exercise pits Christians vs. Critics, and requires focus on scripture-based responses. we need your help

In 1 Corinthians 9, the Apostle Paul addresses the issue of supporting those in ministry. He writes (vs.2) “for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.” He’s saying if you’ve benefitted from anything we’ve said or done (your growth, maturity, or discipleship), then you are proof that I’ve been sent by God. Further, he states (vs.11) “If I have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you? (vs.14) … the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel.” Paul presents that someone who works is entitled to receive from those who benefit from those works. This is Bible! However, it’s vital to also understand that, regardless of his right to demand payment, Paul said that he will always choose to preach the gospel for free because God has entrusted him with this stewardship. Beloved, thank you for your prayers and support. Your prayers and faith encourage us greatly!

Sandy and I are fully persuaded of Christ’s Lordship, and daily we persuade men into truth and salvation through Him. (2Cor 5:11) Genuine love compels us to engage, confront, challenge, immerse, expose, provoke, and offend men and women with the Word of God. Because I have been forgiven for so much, I have an enormous, aggressive burden to see folks saved, forgiven, baptized, restored, discipled, and released into the works of the Lord.
